SavingsHacks explains what US retailers actually allow: return windows, price-match rules, membership terms and store hours.
How we check things
Every guide starts from the retailer’s own published rules where the retailer publishes them. We read the official page first, then cross-check against recent reporting before writing anything.
Not every chain publishes everything. Some never put store hours or coupon rules in one place, and a few publish nothing at all. When that happens we say so in the article and tell you what to confirm at the store rather than guessing. Roughly a quarter of our store guides fall into that category today.
Each store guide shows the date its details were last verified. We also record the exact sources behind every guide, though we do not print them on the page; if you want the sources for a specific page, ask and we will send them.
What we are not
We are not affiliated with any retailer. We do not publish coupon codes or flash deals. We currently carry no advertising and no affiliate links.
Policies change, and they vary by store, state and franchise owner. Treat our pages as a starting point and confirm anything that matters on the retailer’s own site before you rely on it.
